Talent Generation

What is the Talent Generation line of work?

This line of work conducts applied research into talent generation in the Euskadi VET system, shining the spotlight on sustainable human development.

What is the objective?

The objective, which falls under the Euskadi VET system, is to develop talent in people and organisations so that, based on values, they can select challenges and mobilise information, emotional management, and executive functions to meet said challenges.

Why is it important for Euskadi VET?

This line is important because:

  • We understand that, at this time, talent is the most significant human characteristic to be developed in Vocational Educational Training (VET), since it means using critical thought, creative thought, and constructive thought. Thus viewed, talent determines responses with added value.
  • The correct use of emotional intelligence, generative intelligence, and executive intelligence is a guarantee of progress and sets an individual's transformation: from a competent professional to a talented professional.
  • Beyond skill development VET requires learning fields that focus on developing the talent of people in terms of putting intelligence into action that successfully resolves the challenges that these people perceive and face.
  • We contribute to the development of people who direct their actions, and therefore their present and future, with a vision steeped in sustainable humanism.

Process

As an institution whose activity is framed by applied innovation, we focus on researching and spreading or implementing executive processes.

To spread these tools or resources that contribute to talent development, we use collaborative dissemination structures focused on accompanying the people carrying out their work at Euskadi VET: people from Euskadi VET centres with experience (aRituak), learning coordinators, educator teams, operational networks, etc.

In terms of applied innovation processes, experimentation and assessing said processes are key when considering whether the discoveries can be promoted. For this reason, after pertinent research actions, we generally conduct pilot tests in suitable scenarios to identify indicators of achievement of general interest.

All this being said, this is how we focus research:

  • All this being said, this is how we focus research:

  • We structure and define the context of talent with Euskadi VET.
  • We develop transformation of training based on skill to training based on talent.
  • We analyse different models of thought and intelligence to improve skills and boost the talent of people learning under the Euskadi VET system.
  • We generate references and boost new learning spaces for VET.
  • We include new tools to facilitate learning processes to improve training for people learning under Euskadi VET.
