Entrepreneurial Culture

What is the Entrepreneurial Culture line of work?

This line of work consists of incorporating the entrepreneurial culture into the ETHAZI model, the Euskadi VET learning model. We understand this culture as a set of values, attitudes, skills, and behaviours that foster and support the creation and development of new ideas and opportunities, as well as the ability to put them into practise.

What is the objective?

The main objective is to equip students to turn their ideas into concrete actions, transforming innovative concepts into real, sustainable projects that benefit both the students and the community they live in.

Why is it important for Euskadi VET?

This line is important because:

  • In an increasingly technologically advanced society that is also facing significant social and environmental challenges, it is essential to learn to anticipate, innovate, and take responsibility.
  • Our society and our companies need entrepreneurs to act as agents for change toward a fairer, more sustainable society.
  • This fosters skills and attitudes that allow students to identify opportunities, assume calculated risks, and persevere in the face of challenge, contributing to the creation of social, cultural, and/or economic value for people and the surrounding environment.

Process

We pose the challenge of creating and putting an entrepreneurial idea into practise, where students are the main actor in developing their talent. To move forward with this challenge, we suggest to educator teams that entrepreneurial ideas be related to the professional family, that they be innovative, and that, considering Values 4.0, they generate not only economic value, but also social or cultural value, contributing to a more integrating social transformation.

We also encourage educator teams to use new learning spaces to carry out entrepreneurial ideas.

To undertake this entrepreneurial adventure, we suggest the following itinerary for educator teams:

  • Learn entrepreneurial skills, the professional skills in the cycle, and ethical and social values.
  • Identify the needs of the environment and people with a critical vision.
  • Apply entrepreneurial skills to provide a solution to the needs of the environment and people.
